GREAT NEWS AGAIN !
I am thrilled to share the news with our families that we have received a PERFECT SCORE from the state of Virginia on our last 2 licensing visits. Licensed child care centers must maintain rigorous health and safety standards.
One of these visits was our biannual licensing inspection. This is a very extensive inspection and lasts several hours. Records are reviewed, classrooms observed, child-teacher interaction are noted, toys and equipment are checked, food program is monitored, just to mention a few items. Literally hundreds of items are part of the inspection. We were not cited for any violations at all. Not even one!
I am sharing this news with our families as a way of saying thank you for choosing Colonial Day School for your child care needs and to validate your choice of CDS.
