USDA Food Program
Mrs. Bernice has 55 years experience in the food service field. The children call her grandma as we all love her because she always makes sure we have the best of everything to eat.
We participate in the United States Department of Agriculture Food Program. In fact, 2 years in a row we received the CACFP Excellence Award from USDA for being one of the outstanding childcare centers in Virginia. This program is designed for the provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children.
Our meals follow the standards and guidelines set forth by them. Our meals and snacks are all well balanced and nutritional at all times. Children are always permitted to have extra helpings at each setting.
We offer breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. These wonderful and nutritional meals are included in the weekly tuition.
In accordance with Federal Law and the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age or disability. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs.)
